Penitence and humility are the greatest virtues of Karate Do

There is no first move in Karate Do

One-Look, Two-Move, Three-Technique, Four-Power.

Practice patience in all things.

Courtesy and respect are foremost in behavior.

Seven times down, eight times up, meaning: Never Give Up.
